Thank you, my friend. That kind of felt good. I have to say that the very first thanks I EVER received was on this gizmo called Facebook. I understand the expression is "Better late than never", but 40 years..................????? Papa
I never expected "thanks". I grew up to balance my privilege with my duty. It was my "oblige". It is extraordinary that now, 46 years later, "thanks" are pouring in. It is happening everywhere I go. It swells my heart.
I regret to report that my first cousin, Oscar Kadle, passed away yesterday. He was a veteran of the battles Saipan and Tarawa. RIP Oscar, and thanks to you, we don't speak Japanese.
You may not have expected thanks, but deserved them. I think our country's conscience has been steadily kicking in over the past few years. I'm sorry to hear about Oscar, and will pass that news on to Mom. Love you, Unca Reese.
thats awesome! thank you for sharing that. xoxo
